Director
Regeneron
My name is Andre Limnander and I am a PhD scientist working as Director of Immunology and Inflammation Research at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. At Regeneron I lead a research group focused on elucidating mechanisms of pathogenic antibody production in allergy and autoimmunity and defining strategies to target them while sparing protective immunity. I obtained my PhD in Cellular, Molecular and Biophysical Studies at Columbia University in 2005, where my thesis focused on defining molecular mechanisms of pre-B cell transformation in mouse models of leukemia. Following completion of the PhD, I moved to the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) for a postdoctoral fellowship, where I defined developmental changes in B cell signaling pathways that mediate immune tolerance checkpoints that prevent autoimmunity.
