Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, investigators will be able to understand core concepts of autoimmunity in the context of Type 1 Diabetes. These concepts will include descriptions of both circulating and tissue resident defects in immune regulation.
Upon completion, participants should gain an appreciation for how spatial biology is influencing our understanding of disease pathogenesis and approaches to restoring immune regulation in those at high-risk of developing disease.
Upon completion, participants should better understand how the cellular and molecular signature of type 1 diabetes is being investigated, with a particular focus on the adaptive immune receptor repertoire.
